Tried multiple small desserts from Pettit's including pumpkin and lemon flavors and they were amazing. Best mini pastries I've had locally. Can't wait to try more items from this awesome bakery!

Good donuts, obviously same mixes every donut shop uses. Two negatives- glazed (ring) not the same color on both sides and each shows holes from the sticks used to flip them over (12 years frying donuts as a kid = super critical); cannoli are horrible, not filled with ricotta but with the same white used to fill their long johns.

Went in for donuts for the first time, it was amazing! Everything is made in house, dough, cream, frostings everything. The donuts were soft, fluffy and the long johns were actually filled. Service was fast and friendly, very welcoming. I love almond and the Dutch letter was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back.

Pettit's Pastry is an Omaha staple and it's super easy to see why! They have all the classic donuts, and don't over complicate them by adding a Hershey bar, Boo Berry cereal pieces, or any other crazy toppings you see at a few donut spots around town. Just plain and simple (and good!) donuts. We have been to Pettit's a lot over the years obviously, but I never thought to review them until now, on our last visit. The interior is simple, just like classic bakeries from my childhood. You can smell the baking donuts and treats and it brings you right back to those memories. Katie was the attendant behind the glass case on our last visit and she was super nice and took care of us even though we didn't know exactly what we wanted when we came in. It was close to closing time when we decided to pop in, so I did have some concerns about freshness. But that was no issue! They were all still super fresh and delicious. We got about 8 donuts and rolls and each and every one was fabulous. Their classic cake donuts are my favorite, with the white, chocolate, or maple frosting. They remind me of the little donuts you'd get after church with your parents, when they serve coffee and donuts in the parish center - LOL! The filled/long John donuts are my husband's favorite, and they are also super tasty. The white fluff that Pettit's uses in those is heavenly. Super sweet but not cloying so much that you couldn't finish one. Next time you're on the hunt for something sweet and want a good quality, affordable option that may give you a bit of nostalgia, definitely hit up Pettit's Pastry!

Delicious, fresh, and great customer service! Picked up a half dozen and they won't make the rest of the day! Our favorite part is the donuts stay fresh the whole day. Don't get greasy or watery.

Great cakes, turnovers, apple fritters, donuts, all things sweet in the morning. We've gotten several cakes and were always pleased with them. It's a big donut stop so get here early on weekends.

Pretty good donuts at Pettit's today. The best one we tried was an apple fritter, not pictured because it was devoured so quickly. The old-fashioned was reminiscent of my favorite category of donut, but it didn't have all those craggy edges and craters like you would expect. The glaze was nice and not too sweet but the donut itself just wasn't what I expected. The cake donut had a nice flavor to it, not too plain although almost too dry. The interior looks a bit cobbled together, like they bought a bunch of stuff separately. The parking lot, although not really their fault, is a pain to get in and out of.
